Everpure® Coldrink® MC/7CLM+/XCLM+ Systems

Fountain Beverage Filtration Systems

Everpure® Coldrink / 7CLM+/XCLM+ Systems

Why filter for fountain drinks?  Taste, consistency and carbonation.

Taste – Fountain beverages are 83% water.  To control the taste you have to control the largest ingredient – water.

Consistency – To ensure your beverages taste the same day in and day out, from one location to the next. There is a saying in foodservice – You can feed ’em crap, just keep it consistent!

Carbonation – microscopic dirt particles, too small for the human eye to see, are naturally present in water.  Those small particles of dirt will kill carbonation causing drinks to go flat.  In addition to causing abrasion in equipment.

Other cool benefits include:

Food safety – protection when a boil order occurs.  Everpure filters protect against harmful cysts, such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia.  All MC/XC/FC systems are NSF/ANSI Standard 53 certified.  The sanitary cartridge replacement is simple, quick and clean; internal filter parts are never exposed to handling or contamination.

Chloramines – CLM+ systems are certified NSF/ANSI Standard 42

What you should know about Chloramines:

  • Chloramines is chlorine bonded with ammonia. This provides more stability for better disinfection over long distances in pipe lines.
  • It lasts two to three days instead of just a few hours for free chlorine.
  • Also, because it is less likely to create byproducts such as THM’s, it helps municipalities to meet new guidelines for drinking water quality
