Both cartridges are interchangeable and provide the following flow rates and capacities:
#EV9611-00 4C Cartridge – 0.50 gpm peak flow – 1,500 gallons rated capacity
#EV9601-11 AC Cartridge – 0.50 gpm peak flow – 750 gallons rated capacity

A bit of trivia:
In the good ole days, the AC was the filter of choice for motorhome and RV manufacturer’s. It was original equipment in the majority of recreational vehicles manufactured in the United States and for very good reason – it was compact and provided exceptional filtration quality and filter life. When you own an RV, you are often drawing your drinking water from different and questionable sources. You need to sterilize that water first and then pump it thru a water filter, before you can drink it. To this day, AC filters are still found ‘on the road’
