Everpure® Claris® Cartridges
Softening, Filtering & Buffering
Claris Prime & Ultra Water Filtration
The rule of thumb is to change these cartridges once a year. There is a Flow Meter (#EV4339-31/32) that monitors the gallons used and indicates when it is time for a filter change. If you do not have this meter, you can retro-fit it. Otherwise, we recommend every 12 months.
There are 6 different sizes of cartridges to choose from:
#EV4339-80 Ultra S – 0.50 gpm flow rate – 660 gallons*
#EV4339-81 Ultra M – 0.50 gpm flow rate – 1,109 gallons*
#EV4339-82 Ultra L – 0.50 gpm flow rate – 2245 gallons*
#EV4339-83 Ultra XL – 1.0 gpm flow rate – 3,196 gallons*
#EV4339-84 Ultra XXL – 1.00 gpm flow rate – 5,283 gallons*
#ev4339-86 Prime – 1.00 gpm flow rate – (please refer to spec sheets for details)
Difference between Prime and Ultra: Prime has all the features of Ultra plus the added feature of corrosion inhibition.
*Note: Cartridge capacity varies according to the volume of water filtered and the hardness of that water.
